Dr. Phlox

Chief Medical Officer Medical Division Another non-Starfleet officer, Dr. Phlox was perhaps the most mysterious member of the Enterprise staff. Brought onboard the ship during the events of its first mission, Phlox remained to take charge of sickbay. He kept several interesting specimens and experiments around the medical facility, and brought some interesting contrast to a mostly human crew.

Doctor Phlox is a Denobulan who appears to be in his mid-40s, but we aren’t certain of his real age. Phlox speaks with an alien accent, has an eccentric sense of humour that no one quite understands, and thinks that humanity is “fascinating”. His Sickbay is home to a growing collection of stuff - some allies, some not - gathered from Enterprise's ports of call.

Phlox is another passenger suggested by the Vulcan's, but Archer doesn't hold it against him. Phlox's background in intergalactic medicine is indispensable, though his approach to the healing arts is somewhat startling. Doctor Phlox, Chief Medical Officer

He has filled Sickbay with all sorts of bizarre medical instruments for his own particular brand of "Intergalactic Medicine," making even the most routine visit to Sickbay an unexpected adventure. a happy disposition, along with a natural scientific curiosity that retains a sense of humanity.
