Don S. Davis was born in 1942 in the Ozark Mountains, Missouri. Didn't really have a television until about the time he went to high school, he preffered athletics. He was the youngest of four children. He studied theatre in college. And then went on to serve for 3 years in the US army. He taught theatre in his old University.

And says he owes his acting career to a break Richard Dean Anderson and Michael Greenburg  gave him. they hired him him for a  MacGyver episode. Since then he has been in countless movies and TV shows. Stargate  SG1 being his most notable performance. Besides from acting Don loves to paint does sculpture, and is well known for his wood carving. Don is married to Sandy and has a son.
