The Enterprise hears a radio signal coming from a planet that is inhabited only by children, the crew beam down, and Dr McCoy is attacked by a mad man, McCoy is horrified to discover that the man has aged a century in minutes, the landing party can not beam back, for apart from Spock they all have the deadly disease, that prolongs the children's life for centuries but kills them at the age of puberty, all the communicators have been stolen by the children, and without the computers to help him, McCoy wonders how he will save everyone.
