ARENA 

The Enterprise receives a message from Cestus 3, but when he beams down with a landing party, they find all but one of the inhabitants of the colony have been destroyed, he tells Kirk that the "Gorns" are responsible for the attack Kirk follows the Gorn ship into space, but a powerful race called the Metrons whisks Kirk and the captain of the Gorn ship on to a planet, there they will decide the fate of their ships, by a solo fight to the death.
