AMOK TIME

The Enterprise is on its way to Altair VI on a diplomatic mission when Spock begins to behave in an irrational way. He stops eating, sleeping and loses control of his emotions. It is the time of Pon- Farr a mating ritual of the Vulcan people. McCoy tells Kirk he must go to Vulcan or Spock will most surely die.
