Spock beams on board, Kirk, Scott, Uhura, and McCoy, however they are not what the appear to be. They are in fact alternate universe counterparts to the four crew members, this universe is a violent terror ridden society, moving up rank means one must murder to achieve this. The crew are in grave danger.
Spock must find a way to get the real four safely back on the Enterprise and return the intruders.
