BREAD AND CIRCUSES

Kirk Spock and McCoy beam down to planet 892 after the discover the wreckage of the starship Beagle They soon learn that captain Merrick has betrayed his crew by beaming them down to the planet to go into Roman style arena’s to fight to their deaths then Merrick traps Kirk and his crew to become combatants!
Spock and McCoy are in a prison cell for sometime this proves to be a very emotional time for McCoy and the two of them are having there own private little battle, later these two must fight in the arena , and Kirk has been sentenced to death. Scotty is trying to find a way to distract them on the planet without breaking the rules of the prime directive.
