THE OMEGA GLORY

Kirk McCoy and Spock beam over to the Exeter it is in orbit around the planet Omega 1V . There they discover that all the crew, are dead and reduced to a crystallised powder, caused by a deadly virus, and now they too are exposed to it and can not return to the Enterprise.
They go down to the planet in the hopes of finding answers, there they learn that Exeter's Captain Tracy, has violated the prime directive meddling with the natives affairs. Tracy thinks the planet's atmosphere give's one immortality .Tracy is a mad-man power hungry, and even Kirk will find it difficult to bring him down.
