It's the 23rd century and a mysterious alien power is threatening Earth by evaporating the oceans, and destroying the atmosphere. In their frantic attempt to save mankind . Kirk and his crew must time travel back to 1986 San Francisco where they find a world of punk, pizza and exact change buses, that are as alien as anything they have ever encountered in the far reaches of the galaxy.

Captains Log, we are in our third month of our Vulcan exile, and it was DR Mccoy with a fine sense of historical irony, who thought of the name “ The Bounty” for our captured Klingon vessel, and like those mutineers of 500 years ago ,we too have a hard choice to make.

Let the record show that the commander and crew of the late USS Enterprise have voted to go back to Earth, to face the consequences of their actions, in the rescue of their comrade Captain Spock.

This is the President of the United Federation of Planets, do not approach the planet earth ,the transmissions of an orbiting probe, are causing critical damage to the planet, all power sources have failed, the probe is vaporizing our Ocean’s save yourselves avoid the planet earth at all cost.

As suspected Admiral the probes transmissions are songs sung by whales it is possible that an alien intelligence sent the probe to make contact .

We are going to attempt time travel, we have analised that only the call of the species hump back whale can answer the probe.

Everyone remember where we parked, the rest of you break up you look like a cadet review . Well Mr. Spock we are walking the streets of San Francisco, looking for a couple of whales , how do you propose to solve this problem. Simple logic will suffice

I think we will find what we are looking for at Sausalito, a pair of whales know as George and Gracie. How do you know this. Simple logic. This is perfect Spock a male and female whale, we will beem them both up and think our selves lucky.

The whales will be tagged so we can keep tabs on them. You know I could take them to a place where they would be safe.Who are you ?Don’t tell me you are from outer space. I am what on your calendar would be the late 23rd century, I have come back in time, to bring two whales to repopulate the species .
