 I was so sad when Chris had his accident. I went to visit him in New Jersey where he was doing his rehab at a hospital there. When I was approaching the hospital, I grew anxious about what I would say once I got there, what was appropriate for someone who had been through so much difficulty. But as soon as I saw him we struck up an enthusiastic conversation about - you guessed it - horses. My best, Bill

Oh, so many. I’ve had it with my children, with my wife, with my dogs, and this morning, with my horse. I worked one of my horses off the weight of my body, so whenever I would lean, she would go in that direction. So, without reins, the horse and I worked together. It was a perfect meeting of spirit.

Bill I have often wondered why you don't make two hour TV movies of some of your own Trek books., The same format as Columbo, this was a very good series and is less demanding than the grind of a weekly series.

I think the Disney building is a stroke of genius. It's unlike any other architectural feat, at least in Los Angeles. I'm reminded of the turmoil engendered by the Sydney Opera House when it, too, was built. Now it's considered one of the most imaginative buildings in the world. My best, Bill

I heard the architect himself being interviewed today on the radio and he said he started designing from the inside out. He worked the design of the inside based on the acoustical needs of the orchestra and found that most of the shapes he developed resembled sails. Once he found this idea, he began the design of the outside of the building. I guess based on that idea, I am better able to understand the design of the building. What do you think? Lisabeth

I have often wondered how stars do their Gift shopping without being attacked by mobs of fans:) do they perhaps put on disguises:)

Does Bill Do his own shopping or does Elizabeth get to do this.

A great deal of interest around the world about this. I guess it diverts attention from world matters for a while. Maybe lets us see we are only human.

I think Steve now sees this was a bit careless. And he is doing heaps of good around the world. His conservation of animals work is unbelievable. Maybe the world will forgive him. I hope so

A very good friend of mine is a visual effects artist and does many kinds of special effects and CGI. One of the projects he does is to make all the animatronic babies for the series ER. He assured me that no one would put a real baby in that kind of situation. Surely that child was one of his cast-offs. Apparently not. My best, Bill
