Bra'tac arrives through the Stargate with news, that the Goa'uld Apophis survived the destruction of his ship, and has kidnapped Teal'cs son, O'Neill and the SG-1 team agree to join Teal'c and return to Chulak. They find much has changed.

His wife, Drey'auc assumed Teal'c was dead and married his old friend, Fro'tak. Also Rya'c his son has been brain washed by Apophis Drey'auc still loves Teal'c. Fro'tak becomes jealous and attempts to betray the team to Apophis. O'Neill stop this attempt.

Rya'c is rescued, but a little to easy, and although O'Neill agrees to take Rya'c, back to Earth, he suspects Apophis, may be setting a deadly trap using the boy.
